In the era of Saudi Vision 2030, digital connectivity is the backbone of our smart cities and the holy sites of Makkah and Madinah. As a Telecommunication Engineer, I developed this tool to calculate Path Loss, helping network planners optimize coverage for Hajj pilgrims and local residents.

1. What is the Smart Signal Strength Estimator? / ما هي هذه الأداة؟

This tool uses the Log-Distance Path Loss Model, a fundamental concept in RF (Radio Frequency) engineering. It estimates how much a signal weakens as it travels from a cellular tower to a mobile device, considering the specific environments of Saudi Arabia, such as the open tents in Mina or the dense skyscrapers of Jeddah.

تستخدم هذه الأداة نموذج "Log-Distance Path Loss"، وهو مفهوم أساسي في هندسة الترددات اللاسلكية (RF). حيث تقوم بتقدير مدى ضعف الإشارة أثناء انتقالها من برج الخلية إلى جهاز المحمول، مع مراعاة البيئات الخاصة بالمملكة، مثل الخيام المفتوحة في منى أو ناطحات السحاب الكثيفة في جدة. 2.

 Quality of Service (QoS): Ensures that pilgrims stay connected with their families during Hajj without call drops. Infrastructure Planning: Helps engineers decide if a building needs a Signal Booster or an Indoor Small Cell. Cost Efficiency: Avoids over-installing hardware by using precise mathematical predictions.

 جودة الخدمة (QoS): تضمن بقاء الحجاج على اتصال مع أهاليهم أثناء الحج دون انقطاع المكالمات. تخطيط البنية التحتية: تساعد المهندسين في تحديد ما إذا كان المبنى يحتاج إلى مقوي إشارة. كفاءة التكلفة: تتجنب الإفراط في تركيب الأجهزة باستخدام التنبؤات الرياضية الدقيقة. 3.

 3. Solving Real-World Problems in Saudi Arabia / حل مشكلات الواقع في السعودية

In high-density areas like Makkah during the peak season, the sheer volume of users can strain the network. This tool helps identify "Dead Zones" before they happen. By inputting the distance and frequency (e.g., 2100MHz for 4G or 3500MHz for 5G), planners can ensure seamless coverage for the millions of visitors visiting the Kingdom.

 في المناطق ذات الكثافة العالية مثل مكة المكرمة خلال موسم الذروة، يمكن لعدد المستخدمين الهائل أن يجهد الشبكة. تساعد هذه الأداة في تحديد "المناطق الميتة" قبل حدوثها. من خلال إدخال المسافة والتردد، يمكن للمخططين ضمان تغطية سلسة لملايين الزوار.
